Job summary

Valentis Group Inc. is seeking a Concierge for a full-time 40-hour position in the Washington DC area. The role includes operating the switchboard, greeting visitors, and directing them to appropriate destinations, with responsibilities for scheduling and maintaining visitor logs.

Shifts run 0700-1500, 1500-2300, and 2300-0700; weekend work is required. Pay starts at $19.00 per hour and increases to $20.00 per hour after 90 days.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments.
• Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
• Schedule appointments and maintain Visitor Logs electronically.
• Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
• Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
