The Landings of Swansboro is seeking a friendly Concierge to assist residents and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment within our retirement community. You will greet guests, arrange transportation, coordinate reservations, and help with events and daily check-in/check-out tasks, while maintaining a high standard of service and safety for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous customer service or concierge experience (preferred).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Proficiency with office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, and visitors warmly, providing assistance with inquiries and directions.
• Provide concierge services including arranging transportation and coordinating reservations.
• Serve as a central point of contact for residents and staff about events and announcements.
• Maintain a high level of customer service so residents feel valued and supported.
• Perform light administrative duties such as logs, scheduling, and check-in/check-out procedures.
• Assist in coordinating community events and activities to keep residents informed and engaged.
• Address concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction for residents and families.
• Assist with security procedures, including monitoring access and reporting concerns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Resident & Visitor Services: Greet residents, families, and visitors warmly, providing assistance with inquiries, directions, and requests to ensure a positive experience.
• Concierge Support: Offer a variety of concierge services, including arranging transportation, coordinating reservations, and helping residents with special requests or errands.
• Communication Hub: Serve as a central point of contact for residents and staff, communicating important information about community events, activities, and announcements.
• Customer Service Excellence: Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that all residents feel valued, heard, and well-supported in their needs and requests.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform light administrative duties such as maintaining logs, scheduling appointments, and assisting with resident or visitor check-in/check-out procedures.
