Job description

Position: Concierge

We are currently seeking a candidate with exceptional multi-tasking skills. The primary role is concierge, but the successful candidate should be flexible to cover first, second, or weekend shifts across various departments, including front desk, dietary, housekeeping, and activities. Willingness to learn supporting roles is essential.

Position Summary

The Concierge provides customer service and reception to residents and families, primarily in the front lobby, adhering to all laws, regulations, and Century Park standards. Reports to the Business Office Manager.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to operate office machines (fax, copier/scanner)
Primary Job Responsibilities
Greeter Duties
  • Provide excellent customer service, including telephone etiquette
  • Greet guests, visitors, residents, and families entering the lobby
  • Create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • Interact professionally and courteously
  • Redirect concerns to appropriate management
  • Screen visitors entering the community
  • Maintain the lobby and work areas neat and presentable
  • Monitor lobby activity and report unauthorized visitors or concerns
  • Ensure the lobby entrance is welcoming and flow is maintained
  • Keep the bell cart clean and polished weekly
Administrative Duties
  • Provide clerical support (typing, filing, photocopying, faxing, data entry)
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Deliver packages following community policy
  • Record entries accurately in the Events Log
  • Maintain lists (resident directory, check sheets, staff contact lists)
  • Enter resident maintenance requests into TELs system
  • Manage guest room reservations, charges, and payments, informing Housekeeping as needed
  • Oversee resident check-in system, educate new residents, and maintain security lists
Sales / Marketing Support
  • Use Front Desk Inquiry Sheets for prospective resident inquiries
  • Coordinate with sales team to ensure timely responses
  • Assist with Electronic Health Record (EHR) system as needed
