Job summary

Adamas Building Services is seeking a customer service oriented Concierge for a luxury residential community in Yonkers, NY. The role supports residents with visits, deliveries, and inquiries in a full service lobby.

The position runs Tuesday and Wednesday from 6am to 2pm (part-time) with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour. You will greet residents, answer calls, coordinate deliveries, and maintain a safe, clean lobby with professional attire and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Meet residents and guests to determine the nature of their visit and maintain logbooks for all visitors.
• Answer phone calls and assist callers with information or instructions for the building.
• Receive and oversee deliveries, mail and packages for residents.
• Inspect the buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness and report issues to maintenance.
• Assist management with resident requests and keep lobby, front desk and package areas organized.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
• Occasionally lift packages between 10-25 lbs.

Adamas Building Services is looking for an exceptional customer service-oriented Concierge with experience working in luxury residential communities. Our company is a leading expert in the Residential Services market with properties throughout New Jersey, New York, and Florida.

We have openings at our Yonkers, NY location.

Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday 6am-2pm (Part-Time)

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Meeting/Greeting residents and guests to determine the nature of their visit and maintain logbooks for all visitors
• Answering phone calls and assisting callers with information and/or instructions for the building
• Responding to inquiries on neighborhood services when applicable.
• Receiving and overseeing deliveries, mail and packages for residents
• Inspecting the buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness and reporting any issues to the maintenance department.
• Assisting management with any request for residents in the building
• Keeping lobby area, front desk and package are organized, neat and clean
• Properly communicating with lead concierge and Management.
• Providing excellent customer service
• Occasionally lifting packages between 10-25 lbs

• Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible working hours
• Ability to use a general office equipment such as computer, telephone, fax machine, as well as other computer tracking systems used at the property.
• Should be computer savvy with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet
• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis; Overtime may be required for this position.
• Ability to work weekends and non-traditional holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass comprehensive background check.
