Senior Lifestyle is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented team member to assist residents, visitors and vendors in our community in Blue Island, IL. You will greet residents, answer calls, manage deliveries and support building operations with a positive, professional demeanor.

The role emphasizes clear communication, basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word), and a compassionate, team-oriented approach to ensure timely responses and high resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of related experience is preferred.
• Clear and effective communication in English.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents and families.
• Answer telephone calls.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems and investigate unusual activity.
• Process reports for work orders, incidents and concerns.
• Receive packages, plants and prescription drugs and deliver or hold as requested.
• Maintain sign in/out log for issuance of community keys and gate passes.
• Assist other departments with administrative functions.
• Ensure timely response to resident/family/employee concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Job Description
