The Concierge will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service directly to the residents, guests, prospective residents, and team members at TREK residential properties. The Concierge will report directly to the Community Manager for the property.They will adhere to the company’s Mission Statement and ensure the site follows all regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions:
Create an exceptional experience that is welcoming and friendly by greeting residents and their guest and by providing front-line evening customer services for requests and issues.
Assist residents with convenience services they may need to ease the small burdens of daily life including package management, greeting of their guests, assistance with un-loading/loading of groceries, etc.
Be knowledgeable of local current attractions or events (concerts, theater, sporting events, special events, and more.). Be knowledgeable of local business offerings especially restaurants and bars.
Provide access control services and remain vigilant of non-residents and their purpose for being on property and follow all protocols for addressing concerns.
Maintain and uphold a high standard for community curb appeal by conducting routine inspections of all community amenities and common areas both inside and outside and providing upkeep as needed.
Act as the building host/hostess for private parties held in community spaces by communicating with the party host prior to the party, assisting with set-up as needed, and closing the party at the indicated time.
Follow applicable emergency procedures and contact applicable public service response organization in case of an emergency
Provide leasing assistance to property leasing staff by making initial contact with future residents, setting appointments, assisting with key pick-ups, and any other tasks related to the move-in and move-out process.

Collaborate with teammatesto identify and solve any apartment issues that arise, including but not limited to completing a daily report log.
Assist with office duties such as answering phones, entering work orders, answering emails, etc.
Plan fun activitiesthat help build a strong sense of belonging among residents. (Such as wine-tastings, book club or movie nights)
Work closely with management team and other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Friendly and approachable, upbeat personality. Customer service, problem solving, interpersonal skills, retail or hospitality experienced required. Knowledge of surveillance equipment preferred. Problem solving skills – capable of finding solutions to the problems that residents might have. Interpersonal skills – someone familiar with the downtown area with good interpersonal skills. Customer service skills – whether meeting with residents in their apartments or in the front lobby, concierges must know how to relate to them and give them what they want. Knowledge or Microsoft Word and Microsoft teams is also required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college or trade school desired or five years of progressive responsibility in property management, hospitality or retail experience required. Hotel concierge experience is a plus.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to walk and stand several hours during each shift. Ability to lift packages/other items up to 50 lbs.

Payfor this position is between $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
