Job summary

Johnson County Park & Recreation District (JCPRD) seeks team members for concessions roles—runner, register, or kitchen—across multiple venues in the Shawnee, KS area. Positions require reliable evenings and weekend availability and a commitment to customer service.

Team members will handle orders, operate registers, assist with light food preparation, ensure safety standards, and maintain clean, stocked workstations. Training may cover Servsafe food handling and alcohol service as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability on weekends and evenings.
• Servsafe Food Handler Certification or equivalent may be required during training (paid).
• Servsafe Alcohol Certification or equivalent may be required during training (paid).

Responsibilities

• Assist in general duties as runner, at the register, or in the kitchen during shifts.
• Operate the register, enter transactions, and handle cash responsibilities.
• Fulfill orders as needed and keep products stocked and ready for service.
• Prepare items safely, maintain kitchen cleanliness and health standards.
• Communicate clearly with team and supervision for prompt service.
• Set up and clean concessions and surrounding areas.
