Job summary

Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD) is hiring for Concessions staff at Meadowbrook Park. You will serve as a runner, at the register, or in the kitchen during shifts, delivering prompt, friendly service and ensuring orders are fulfilled.

This team emphasizes safety, proper food handling, and teamwork. Applicants should be at least 15, able to work weekends and evenings, and willing to undergo background checks as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 15 years.
• Must be available Weekends and Evenings.
• If not Servsafe Food Handler Certified or equivalent, JCPRD will require during training period.
• Attention to detail.

• Shift work- Evenings and weekends required, some holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in general duties as a runner, at the register, or in the kitchen during shifts.
• Register staff take customer orders, operate the register and handle cash.
• Runners fulfill orders and perform light food prep and stocking.
• Kitchen duties ensure products are prepared safely and to standards; keep area clean.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors for prompt service.
• Practice proper food safety and safety precautions.
• Set-up and clean airstream and surrounding areas.
• Location - Meadowbrook Park.

Job Description

• Members of the JCPRD Concessions team will assist in general duties and serve in the role as a runner, at the register, or in the kitchen during any given shift.
• Register staff take customer orders and communicate them to other team members, operate the register to enter transactions, complete cash handling responsibilities and assist with fulfilling orders as needed.
• Runners are responsible for fulfilling orders and completing light food preparation for items such as quesadillas or cinnamon rolls and keeping all products stocked and ready for service.
• Kitchen duties include ensuring products sold are prepared safely and to Health Department and JCPRD standards, assist with fulfilling orders, and keeping the kitchen clean.
• All service roles must communicate clearly with fellow team members and supervisors during each shift to ensure customers receive prompt and exceptional customer service.
• Practice proper food safety.
• Set-up and clean airstream and surrounding areas.
• Location - Meadowbrook Park

Job Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:
