Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Concessions Supervisor to oversee and support pre-event setup at all concession locations, and post-event cleanup. You will manage the execution of the food and beverage program, maintain high service standards, and ensure compliance with company policies.

The role requires leadership of event-day staff, knowledge of sanitation standards, and coordination of equipment movements before, during, and after events.

Qualifications

  • Must read, speak, and write English to communicate with staff and guests.
  • Ability to work events with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing 10–30 pounds (occasionally 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

  • Follow opening and closing checklists.
  • Oversee understanding of Legends' food and beverage program.
  • Train and manage event-day staff for service and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and enforce service, sanitation, and product quality standards.
  • Supervise concessions staff to ensure proper setup and display of products.
  • Coordinate movement, delivery, and pickup of equipment and product between concession stands.
  • Ensure correct menu items and pricing are displayed for each event.
  • Audit inventory and perform reconciliations as needed.
  • Notify management of low inventory.
  • Record inventory and ensure proper par levels are maintained.
  • Keep concessions inventory organized, locked up, and secured.
  • Assist with Month End inventory counts and organization.
  • Develop ability to use FOH POS and BOH inventory systems, with training and troubleshooting.

Job description

The Role:

The Concessions Supervisor reports directly to the General Manager and Operations Manager. They will oversee and support the operational pre-event set-up at all concessions locations, as well as the post event clean-up. They will oversee the execution of all aspects of Legends' food and beverage program, provide excellent customer service, and adhere to Legends Hospitality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Closely follows and fully completes opening and closing checklists provided by Management.
  • Possesses extensive knowledge of Legends' food and beverage program.
  • Assists in the training and management of event day staff to assure compliance with company service and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
  • Supervises and works closely with all concessions staff to ensure that product is properly set and displayed prior to the start of each event.
  • Assists in coordinating the movement, delivery and pick-ups of necessary equipment and product to and from all concession stands before, during and after events.
  • Ensures proper menu items, as well as pricing, are up for display for each event.
  • Conduct physical audit of inventory and product at concession stands, research and perform reconciliations as needed.
  • Alerts Management and the Warehouse Supervisor of low inventory on any items.
  • Records and delivers the correct amounts of inventory for proper dispersal, ensuring to have ordered the correct amounts of supplies to maintain proper par levels for each location assigned.
  • Makes sure all concessions inventory is always organized, locked up and secured.
  • Assists with Month End inventory counts and organization.
  • Develops the ability to use the FOH POS system and BOH inventory systems including training and problem solving.
  • Shows flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • - Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests
  • Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
  • Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
  • Must meet state and local requirements for alcoholic beverage services
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Required - RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring, if necessary)
  • Preferred - SERVSafe and City of Philadelphia Food Safety Personnel Certificate
