Job summary

Legends Event Center in Bryan, TX is hiring a Concessions Supervisor to lead our concessions stands and provide high-quality service and consistent products in a fast-paced environment.

The role falls under the Food & Beverage department and reports to the Food & Beverage Manager. We seek at least 1 year of customer service experience; familiarity with alcohol service (TABC) is a plus. The position is part-time with lifting requirements up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience with general public preferred.
• Prior experience with food industry preferred.
• Experience with the sales and service of alcohol in accordance with the TABC preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Food managerial license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise tasks associated with the concession stand.
• Operate a cash register and balance a cash drawer
• Communicate positively with patrons.
• Work with large groups in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in labor and food cost management.
• Be detail oriented.
• Assist in training and development of team members.
• Clean dining and concession areas; assist in preparing and serving food items; fill condiment containers.
• Unload, lift, and carry food and supplies; place them in designated areas.
• Record temperatures of food for proper temperature controls.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Concessions Supervisor should be a positive individual to lead our concessions stands to provide quality service as well as consistent products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Operating and supervising tasks associated with the concession stand.
• Operating a cash register and balancing a cash drawer
• Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons.
• Ability to work with large groups of people in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to assist with labor and food cost management.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Assist in the training and development of team members.
• Clean dining and concession areas; assist in preparing and serving food items; fill condiment containers.
• Assist in unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas, and place them in designated areas.
• Take and record the temperature of food to ensure proper temperature controls in the transportation of food.
• Any additional tasks assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• One year of customer service experience with general public preferred
• Prior experience with food industry preferred.
• Experience with the sales and service of alcohol in accordance with the TABC preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Food managerial license preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• The facility has intermittent noise.
