Job summary

Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD) is seeking a Concession Operations Supervisor to oversee on-site activities during leagues, tournaments, and events. You will manage supplies, inventory, and staff performance while upholding health codes and cash-handling procedures.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, enforcing policies, and fostering a positive team culture. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of food service work experience.
• 1 year of staff supervision experience.
• 1 year of cash handling experience.
• Knowledge of food service industry and health code regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• References/background screening required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supports concession operations with on-site supervision during leagues, tournaments, events to ensure efficient operations and customer service.
• Orders, inventories, and assists with receiving deliveries and stocking.
• Leads a positive, inclusive team culture and coaches staff.
• Supervise, evaluate, train, and coach part-time staff.
• Coordinates staffing levels during events and daily operations.
• Communicates with staff and leadership to coordinate operations and resolve issues.
• Ensures policies and health codes are followed.
• On-site supervision during events; on-call resource.
• Maintenance of facilities and equipment and proper handling of products.
• Hours may vary; evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
