Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Concessions Lead Supervisor for Q2 Stadium in Austin, TX. The role oversees multiple concession locations during events and leads a team of Supervisors, Stand Leads, and frontline staff to deliver exceptional guest service.

You will manage staffing, training, and coaching, monitor food quality and service speed, and ensure strict compliance with food safety and company standards during peak event operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising concession teams in high-volume events.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Ability to manage staffing, training, and performance coaching in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of multiple concession stands and food service locations during events.
• Provide leadership and support to Concessions Supervisors and Stand Leads.
• Monitor guest service standards and respond to operational or guest concerns as needed.
• Ensure proper staffing levels, labor deployment, and break management across assigned locations.
• Conduct pre-event meetings and communicate event-specific expectations, goals, and operational updates.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service speed to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health department, and company standards.
• Assist with inventory management, product distribution, and operational readiness before and during events.
• Monitor cash handling procedures, POS operations, and financial controls.
• Support hiring, training, onboarding, and performance coaching of concession team members.
• Complete operational reports, sales tracking, and post-event summaries.
• Collaborate with culinary, warehouse, retail, premium, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, guest satisfaction, and team performance.
• Assist management with special projects and operational initiatives
