Proof of the Pudding, a chef-led hospitality company, seeks Stand Leads for events at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, TX. This seasonal/part-time role supports multiple concession stands during events, ensuring fast, friendly service and adherence to food-safety standards.

You will lead on-site teams, manage inventory and cash tasks, and coordinate pre/post event responsibilities to deliver high-quality guest experiences across venues.

Responsibilities

• Coach staff on the job and adapt methods to different people.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift meetings and oversee event staff.
• Oversee food preparation while following local/state safety laws.
• Ensure cleaning, sanitizing, inventory, cash handling, and related tasks are completed.
• Assist with post-event tasks including updating inventories.
• Conduct monthly inventories and run foods on game days.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Description

We are seeking Stand Leads at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center located in Allen..

This is seasonal/part-time work as business needs are dictated by events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to work with new team members week-to-week to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage the personnel in one or multiple concession stands ensuring hot food is hot, cold beverage is cold, and speed of service.
• Delegate tasks in an upbeat and courteous manner.
• Following up with team members and coaching them on-the-job while understanding there is not a one-size-fits-all method.
• Perform pre and post shift meetings and manage the team of staff that is scheduled to run each event.
• Oversee food preparation at the concession stand while practicing and abiding by local and state food safety laws.
• Ensuring the completion of cleaning & sanitizing checklists, time-temperature logs, inventory counts, cash management, and other functions.
• Assisting in post-event tasks including inputting and updating inventory.
• Executing monthly inventories.
• Running food on game-days.
• Performs other related duties as required.
