Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up and stocks the bar with beer, wine, spirits, supplies, and garnishes.
• Maintains freshness of garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Processes drink orders, mixes and garnishes drinks, and practices portion control.
• Checks guest IDs for alcohol service.
• Detects and responds to guest intoxication appropriately.
• Handles cash, verifies charges, and ensures proper voucher execution.
• Secures beverage products, food, equipment, cash, and deposits.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
• Washes and sterilizes glassware.
• Performs other assigned duties.
