Compass Group USA, operating Levy concessions, seeks a Concessions Bartender for the Portland'5 Center for the Arts. You will prepare and serve beverages in the bar area with friendly, timely service and strict adherence to liquor regulations, while maintaining bar stock and presentation.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, mixing drinks, handling payments, and keeping the bar clean and well-stocked. Compass Group offers strong benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Prepares and serves beverages in a bar area with courteous, timely service.
• Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations.
• Maintains bar setup, stock, garnishes and glassware for service.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up bars; stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper goods, straws and glassware.
• Maintains stock of garnishes, juices and perishables for quality.
• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Takes and processes drink orders; mixes and presents drinks per recipes.
• Checks IDs to verify age; monitors guest intoxication per policy.
• Receives cash, makes change, processes charges and receipts vouchers.
• Locks up and stores beverages, food, equipment, deposits and cash drops.
• Keeps work area clean and organized; performs cleaning tasks.
• Arranges bottles and glasses for an attractive bar display.
