Canlan Sports in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Concession Worker to provide prompt, courteous food and beverage service during events, including preparation, serving and cleanup. You will assist with stocking, ensure proper handling of products, and operate the POS system to process payments.

Ideal candidates are outgoing, team oriented, and flexible to work evenings and weekends. Certifications such as Smart Serve and Serving It Right (or equivalents) are required, with prior Food & Beverage

Qualifications

• Experience in Food & Beverage preferred.
• Smart Serve and Serving It Right certifications required (or equivalent).
• Completed secondary education or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and stock the concession in advance of events and remove and store products post event.
• Apply knowledge of tableware and bar equipment where applicable.
• Handle payments and gratuities, process transactions through POS accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, beverages and current promotions.
• Receive product deliveries and ensure safe storage.
• Complete opening/closing procedures as needed.
• Willing to complete BASSET certification training.

Canlan Sports is currently looking for a Concession Worker

Rate of Pay: $15.50 -$16.50/ hour

JOB SUMMARY

Our concession workers are outgoing, positive, and team orientated. They provide prompt, courteous and accurate food and beverage service in order to exceed guest expectations. The role is including preparation, serving and clean-up within the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and stock the concession in advance of events and removes and stores product post event.
• Apply developed knowledge of tableware and bar equipment (for locations that serve alcohol)
• Handle payments and gratuities, make change, and process all transactions through Sky Tab System accurately
• Maintain knowledge of and actively promote menu, beverages and current promotions
• Receive product delivery and ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage when required
• Ensure all opening / closing procedures are completed (shift dependent)
• Willing and able to complete BASSET certification training

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

• Smart Serve, Serving It Right (or equivalent) required (for locations that serve alcohol at concessions)
• Completed secondary education or equivalent preferred

ABILITIES, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
• Outgoing, positive and team orientated
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends)
• Experienced handling payment and gratuities through a POS system preferred
