Auburn University Concessions is seeking a Concession Stand Lead to oversee daily food service operations on site in Auburn, AL. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, ensure food safety, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Previous food service experience required.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Exhibit and practice the highest level of guest satisfaction skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge and experience managing inventory required.
• Willing to accept change, new procedures, and constructive comments.
• Ability to establish relationships with guests and co-workers.
• Demonstrate professional approach and reliability in daily assignments.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work to a food service team and supervises tasks.
• Trains and guides staff on duties, food safety and sanitation, customer service.
• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes.
• Stores food following safety policies and procedures.
• Sets up workstations and equipment (prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables).
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations.
• Serves food and ensures guest satisfaction and anticipates needs.
• Replenishes food items and maintains stock levels.
• Adheres to alcohol service policies and checks IDs.
• Maintains excellent guest service and positive demeanor toward guests and team.
• Maintains flexibility to meet production and service times.
