Job summary

Richman's Ice Cream & Burger Co in Philadelphia is seeking help for a busy summer season. The ideal candidate is 16 years or older, friendly, and capable of greeting guests, taking orders, and preparing ice cream and frozen desserts according to our recipes.

You will handle cash transactions, upsell beverages or merchandise, and keep a clean, organized work area while following food safety standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and major holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Knowledge of ice cream flavors and toppings is desirable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and major holidays. (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day Weekends Mandatory)
• Positive and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
