Job summary

Brandywine School District seeks a Concert Band Director for the elementary level at Claymont Elementary School. This casual/seasonal role reports to the Building Principal and is compensated per the district EPER salary schedule. Posting valid through 11/6/2026 with a date available in November 2026.

Candidates must be a certified music teacher and will lead the band program, direct rehearsals, and provide performing opportunities at least twice per year outside school hours.

Job Qualifications:

Essential Functions:

1. 2.Build and maintain a successful concert band(s) and band program.
2. 3.Hold and Direct before or after school rehearsal with the full band, sectionals, and or small ensembles derived from the full band.
3. 4.Provide performing opportunities for the bands in the school with a minimum of 2 per academic year, which must be conducted outside of the school day.
