The Brandywine School District is seeking a Concert Band Director for Harlan Elementary School. This elementary music leadership position directs the concert band program, selects repertoire, and coordinates performances, rehearsals, and student opportunities.

Reporting to the Building Principal, the role is casual/seasonal under the EPER salary schedule with duties that extend beyond the school day. The ideal candidate will foster musical growth, manage ensembles, and provide engaging

• Direct before- or after-school rehearsals for the full band, sections, and ensembles.

Job Qualifications:

• 1.Must be a certified music teacher.

• 2.Build and maintain a successful concert band(s) and band program.
• 3.Hold and Direct before or after school rehearsal with the full band, sectionals, and or small ensembles derived from the full band.
• 4.Provide performing opportunities for the bands in the school with a minimum of 2 per academic year, which must be conducted outside of the school day.
