The Sliding Door Company is seeking a Product Development Engineer to bridge our Corporate Office and Manufacturing Factory in Chatsworth, CA. You will lead development from concept through production, creating prototypes, validating functionality, and documenting specifications.

You will collaborate across teams, design with CAD/ SolidWorks, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance and quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in product development and project management.
• Experience with CAD software and prototype design.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Define product specifications with cross-functional teams.
• Design products using CAD and SolidWorks.
• Prototype using various materials and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate testing and validation for safety and functionality.
• Ensure sustainability compliance and certificates.
