Job summary

Proper Brands in Missouri is seeking a Cannabis Concentrate Packager to join our Rock Hill warehouse team. This full-time role offers medical benefits, PTO, and a starting wage of $17.50 per hour. Scheduling is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

to 3:00 p.m., with responsibilities spanning packaging vapes and concentrates, quality control, data entry, and label accuracy. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in a lab setting, and a strong passion for cannabis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• General knowledge or passion for cannabis.
• 1+ years in a lab or related setting with strict health and safety standards preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID card by start date.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong process orientation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Packaging a wide variety of vapes and concentrates.
• Ensure consistency and quality through testing and procedures.
• Set up workstation according to daily goals.
• Follow and complete a defined packaging list.
• Record data in necessary software platforms.
• Package infused products with proper labeling to meet state regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workspace.
• Assist in inventory labeling and monitoring dates.

OurCannabis Concentrate Packagerwill work out of our warehouse location in Rock Hill. Full-time employees will receive medical benefits, paid time off, and a starting rate of $17.50/hr. The job is Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Packaging a wide variety of vapes and concentrates.
• Ensuring consistency and efficiency of product through quality control testing and procedures outlined by the company;
• Setting up work station according to daily packaging goals established by the Processing Director;
• Following and completing a defined packaging list;
• Determining whether and what additional packagers are needed to assist;
• Recording data in all necessary software platforms;
• Packaging infused products into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations;
• Monitoring packaged products for quality and consistency;
• Assisting in the monitoring of dates and labels on all inventory and alerting to the need of scheduled destruction as necessary;
• Updating and maintaining accurate Processing production records;
• Working as part of a team to meet production schedules;
• Maintaining relevant training as new products are introduced;
• Assisting packaging department as needed;
• Ensures the cleanliness and safety of the extraction workspaces;
• Performing all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED;
• General knowledge or passion for cannabis;
• 1+ years of professional and/or personal experience working in a lab that adheres to strict health and safety standards preferred;
• Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID card by start date;
• Must be 21 years of age or older;
• Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Strong process orientation;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

The following education, skills, and experience are preferred for this role:

• Knowledge of extraction, product manufacturing, vape oil, product processing, “bubble hash,” and distillation;
• Knowledge of extraction labs.
