Within this ecosystem, the Strategic Engagement Section under the Customer Clean Energy Programs Organization plays a critical role in advancing Energy Efficiency and Building Electrification (EE-BE) initiatives.

About the Role:

This role sits where policy meets execution.

As Clean Energy Manager, you will help define strategic direction and drive alignment across the organization’s clean energy portfolio, with a strong emphasis on building electrification.

Responsibilities:

Support development of strategy across energy efficiency, building electrification, and non-pipes alternatives.

Shape program design by analyzing trends in energy policy, rate structures, and disadvantaged community programs.

Collaborate with internal teams, utilities, regulators, and contractors to align on clean energy initiatives.

Develop regulatory filings, including data gathering, analysis, and narrative documentation.

About You:

You understand energy systems, but more importantly, you know how to move ideas through regulatory and organizational complexity.

To succeed in this role, you:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.

Have strong analytical and presentation skills.

Bring experience in project management and cross-functional coordination.

Are comfortable working in ambiguity and solving complex problems.

Have experience in or exposure to regulated utilities, energy policy, or corporate strategy.

Possess familiarity with New York energy policy and regulatory landscape (preferred).

Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

Hold a valid driver’s license.
