Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Denver, CO seeks a COMSEC Systems Engineer to support the security and integrity of communications systems across space programs. You will work with Cybersecurity, Software, and Hardware engineers to implement COMSEC solutions that meet mission requirements.

The role involves developing COMSEC documentation, V&V plans, and coordinating verification activities across hardware and software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 3+ years of COMSEC or communications security experience.
• Foundational cryptographic knowledge and key management.
• Familiarity with DoD COMSEC policies and NSA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate COMSEC systems across Blue National Security programs.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Software, and Hardware Engineers to ensure secure architectures.
• Develop and maintain COMSEC documentation and system specifications.
• Create and maintain V&V plans, RVTM, and test plans with cross-team coordination.
• Assess security risks and assist with mitigation strategies.
