Job summary

Castelion Corporation seeks an experienced COMSEC Manager to lead and scale our Communications Security program in a fast-paced defense tech environment. You will advise executives, manage cryptographic material, and coordinate with NSA/DoD authorities to ensure strict security and compliance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep regulatory knowledge, and the ability to build scalable processes as the company grows, with a focus on rapid yet secure execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in COMSEC, classified communications, information assurance, or related security discipline.
• Experience as COMSEC Manager, COMSEC Custodian, Alternate COMSEC Custodian, or equivalent program lead.
• Experience managing complex COMSEC programs, accounts, facilities, equipment, and cryptographic material.
• Knowledge of NSA, DoD, NISPOM requirements.
• Proven experience leading inspections, audits and corrective-action programs.
• Ability to brief senior leadership and communicate security requirements clearly.
• Active TS/SCI/SAP clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company-wide COMSEC program as the senior SME.
• Develop and continuously improve COMSEC policies and controls.
• Manage accounts, cryptographic material, equipment, and personnel access.
• Ensure compliant receipt, issuance, transfer, storage, and destruction of COMSEC material.
• Coordinate with government authorities, NSA, DoD, and customers.
• Advise executives and engineers on COMSEC requirements and risk.
• Prepare for inspections and audits; manage incident reporting and containment.
• Train and certify COMSEC personnel; oversee secure deployment and lifecycle of equipment.
