Job summary

SAIC is hiring a Communications Security Operations Lead to drive modernization of the DOS COMSEC operations, transforming legacy 24/7 monitoring into automated, proactive practices with dashboards and alerting. The role leads a multidisciplinary team and oversees PQC adoption, crypto-agility, and HAIPe/NGLD deployments within a high-assurance environment.

The position requires strong leadership, deep cryptographic expertise, and the ability to coordinate across KMI, CNSA 2.0, and compliance

Qualifications

• BS in CS, cybersecurity, EE, or related field with 9+ years of experience.
• Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization and automation of 24/7 operations, building automated workflows and dashboards.
• Oversee PQC adoption, crypto-agility, and KMI alignment with CNSA 2.0.
• Manage deployment of next-gen HAIPE and NGLD platforms across multi-enclave environments.
• Direct automated vulnerability management and secure logistics to reduce toil.
