Job summary

Credence is seeking an experienced security professional to support Air Force cryptographic modernization efforts. The role involves identifying capability gaps, assessing vulnerabilities, and crafting recommendations and strategic plans across air, ground, space, cyber, and weapons platforms.

The position also supports roadmap development, documentation, and leadership briefings related to cryptographic modernization.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Space COMSEC principles and lifecycle management.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on cryptographic key management experience (ordering, generation, distribution, destruction).
• Strong knowledge of NSA/DoD/DAF security policies related to cryptography and key material.

Responsibilities

• Analyze proposed cryptographic solutions and assess capability gap closure for Air & Ground systems.
• Support development and fielding of crypto solutions; provide data for Government evaluation.
• Evaluate implementations against vulnerabilities and transition plans; report deviations.
• Provide recommendations during algorithm transitions and track progress toward deadlines.
