Job summary

RTX in Massachusetts is seeking a COMSEC manager to support a DoD-focused program in Tewksbury and nearby facilities. You will maintain the COMSEC account, handle encryption key material, and ensure compliance with NSA CSSM policies.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and active DoD security clearance. Onsite work with occasional local travel is expected, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Typical requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience with NISPOM, and how COMSEC plays into the success of business.
• Experience with NSA CSSM Policy 3-16 and its associated references.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the COMSEC account
• Prepare shipment, order, and receipt of COMSEC equipment and encryption key
• Track supersession dates
• Submit accurate and timely accounting reports
• Perform software upgrades to COMSEC equipment
• Conduct/reconcile COMSEC inventories, compliance validations, plus incident reporting and investigation
