Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Communications Security Manager (COMSEC Manager) to support the USTRANSCOM IT Services effort at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. The role centers on executing COMSEC processes, maintaining CCEA accounts, and delivering training to COMSEC personnel to ensure secure operations.

Responsibilities include ETA program coordination, KMI operations, keying material management, and concise reporting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS minimum four years of experience
• DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI access
• Must have at least one IAT Level II certification
• KMI certification or related CE certs
• Ability to communicate IT, networking, and security concepts
• Experience creating technical documentation
• Proficiency with MS Office tools

Responsibilities

• Execute COMSEC processes per DoD policy and DoD directions
• Maintain COMSEC accounts and CCEA custodian duties
• Develop and deliver COMSEC ETA training for officers
• Develop and disseminate COMSEC policies and procedures
• Order and manage COMSEC material and keying materials
• Operate the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI)
• Enforce access controls for COMSEC materials
• Prepare After Action Reviews and reports
• Provide briefings on COMSEC issues
