Job summary

Enhanced Veterans Solutions, Inc. seeks a COMSEC Technician (Level I) for our onsite contract at Davis Monthan AFB, Arizona. The technician maintains the cryptographic security program for the Communications Squadron in accordance with NSA/CSS and Air Force directives.

This entry-level position supports the integrity and operational readiness of all COMSEC materials, equipment, and procedures. Active TS with SCI eligibility is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; however, a minimum of 5 years of COMSEC experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Security+ Certification
• 1–2 years of COMSEC experience with degree to be considered for an interview.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cryptographic security program for the Communications Squadron per NSA/CSS and Air Force directives.
• Receive, store, distribute, account for, and destroy cryptographic materials and related COMSEC items.
• Conduct daily, monthly, and annual inventories of all COMSEC materials.
• Maintain accurate accountability records for all COMSEC items.
• Process security clearance requirements for COMSEC access and maintain records.
• Coordinate key changes and equipment installations with base users.
• Ensure COMSEC facility security standards including storage and access controls.
• Coordinate with higher HQs for cross-domain key distribution and transfers.
• Prepare for external COMSEC inspections and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable security regulations.

The COMSEC Technician is responsible for maintaining the cryptographic security program for the Communications Squadron in accordance with NSA/CSS and Air Force directives. This entry-level position supports the integrity and operational readiness of all COMSEC materials, equipment, and procedures. You must have an active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility to be considered for an interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cryptographic security program for the Communications Squadron in accordance with NSA/CSS and Air Force directives.
• Receive, store, distribute, account for, and destroy cryptographic materials, including key fill devices, cryptographic equipment, and associated COMSEC publications.
• Conduct daily, monthly, and annual physical inventories of all COMSEC materials.
• Maintain accurate accountability records for all COMSEC items.
• Process cryptographic incident reports and conduct investigations into potential COMSEC violations or compromises.
• Perform preventive maintenance and operational checks on cryptographic equipment to ensure mission readiness.
• Coordinate with base users to schedule key changes and equipment installations.
• Maintain COMSEC facility security standards, including proper storage, alarm systems, and access controls.
• Process security clearance requirements for COMSEC access and maintain personnel security records.
• Coordinate with higher headquarters and other installations for cross-domain key distribution and equipment transfers.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable security regulations.
• Prepare for external COMSEC inspections and assessments.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; however, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a COMSEC environment may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Security+ Certification
• At least 1 to 2 years of COMSEC experience with degree to be considered for an interview.
