Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Computerized Tomography Technologist (Bluesky) to operate CT equipment, producing cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation and performing general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.

The role requires ARRT RT (R)(CT) or RT (R)ARRT, CA licensure, and BLS. An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred. Expect dedicated patient care from adolescence to geriatric and precise image handling.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Registered by ARRT RT (R)(CT) or RT (R)ARRT required.
• CA Radiologic Tech license required in CA.
• Advanced CT certification: required in OR and HI; preferred in CA.
• BLS certification required per policy.
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment required in CA if fluoroscopy is used.
• Venipuncture certification required in CA; IV certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Education & Experience

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification: Required in CA, if employees performs venipuncture to administer contrast materials
• Venipuncture (IV) certification: Required
