Job summary

Bluesky is seeking a Computerized Tomography Technologist to operate CT equipment, perform radiography and fluoroscopy, and produce diagnostic images for radiologists.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT CT credentials, CA licensure, BLS and CT-specific certifications. You will work with PACS/teleradiology, maintain records, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering patient-centered care across age groups, from adolescence to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory

Job Summary

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Education & Experience

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification: Required in CA, if employees performs venipuncture to administer contrast materials
• Venipuncture (IV) certification: Required
