Job summary

Consumer Directed Services Inc. seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to operate CT equipment and generate cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.

The role includes general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures, with strict adherence to safety and HIPAA guidelines. You will assess patient care needs, ensure accurate image production, and work with PACS/teleradiology to deliver images to radiologists.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification as RT (R) CT is required.
• State licensure as Radiologic Tech in CA is required.
• CT Certification required (OR/HI preferred; CA preferred).
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment is required.
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across age groups.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately.
• Maintain records and billing information, ensuring HIPAA confidentiality.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) (required).
• State licensure as a Radiologic Tech in CA (required).
• Advanced Certification in CT (required in OR and HI; preferred in CA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Fluoroscopy license in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment (required).
• Venipuncture certification (preferred in CA and OR).
