Position Overview

The CMMS Manager manages the daily operations of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) supporting the ICE Facilities Maintenance Contract. This role ensures accurate maintenance records, preventive maintenance schedules, asset management, inventory control, and compliance. The CMMS Manager provides direct support to Project Management and operational teams, facilitating effective communication and exceptional service across ICE facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain the CMMS database for preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
2. Schedule, track, and report preventive maintenance activities aligned with contractual requirements.
3. Generate CMMS-based reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly), analyze performance trends, and recommend improvements.
4. Coordinate with Project Manager, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure timely maintenance documentation and task completion.
5. Provide CMMS training and guidance to facility staff.
6. Monitor inventory via CMMS; manage procurement and supplier relationships to maintain adequate stock.
7. Track warranty and lifecycle information, ensuring effective warranty use.
8. Identify and recommend solutions for CMMS operational inefficiencies.
9. Serve as the CMMS liaison for ICE representatives, ensuring responsive support.
10. Participate in project meetings, presenting CMMS data and discussing proactive solutions.
11. Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and company standards.

Required Qualifications:

1. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and CMMS software (Maximo, eMaint, Upkeep, or equivalent).
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
4. Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
6. Knowledge of facility operations, preventive maintenance, and asset management.

Preferred Experience:

1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Engineering, Facilities Management, Business) or 5+ years relevant field experience.
2. Minimum 3 years recent CMMS management experience, preferably with federal facilities maintenance contracts.
3. Experience with U.S. federal contracts (ICE, DHS, CBP, GSA, etc.) strongly preferred.

Working Conditions:

1. Occasional extended work hours beyond standard shifts.
2. Occasional travel between ICE facilities in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
