Pay: $18.00/hr.

Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday

Location: Hixson Blvd. Lebanon, TN

General Summary

The Computer Technician 2 (EMR2) role involves various job functions within our facility, requiring similar skill levels, responsibilities, and expectations. The EMR2 is responsible for tearing down and replacing parts in systems, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and determining cost-effective repair options for hardware and software issues across Tablets, Notebooks, Desktops, and Servers, depending on the assigned Line of Business. Key functions may include EG1 DFS (Warranty & Floater), EG3 Conus (Wipe Down).

This position will be responsible for:

• Running production in the Burn area as needed.
• Communicating with operators from other shifts.
• Complying with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Diagnosing system issues for routing to EMR for repair.
• Loading and unloading products efficiently and safely.
• Moving products to storage with proper equipment and stacking/store merchandise appropriately. May include order picking and assembly for shipment.
• Operating material handling equipment safely, including RF equipment, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Cross-training teammates in current roles.
• Ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Following SOPs and JSAs.
• Participating in physical inventories.
• Labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
• Training new teammates on the job.
• Training Burn techs on failure types and procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area (5S).
• Disposing of inventory appropriately.
• Performing cosmetic inspections and cleaning products per guidelines.
• Documenting repair actions accurately.
• Determining cost-effective repairs and updating system dispositions.
• Performing minor part removals or replacements.
