Job summary

Craftner Inc. is seeking a seasoned PeopleSoft professional to analyze, design, customize, and maintain the current PeopleSoft system.

You will leverage PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQL and SQR to develop new functionality and pages while coordinating with the SE team and business users. You will lead test automation efforts, develop PTF-based frameworks, and ensure robust test coverage across stability and performance testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Software Professional.
• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field; 3 years of experience in the job offered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design and customize the current PeopleSoft System per requirements using PeopleSoft tools.
• Use Application Designer and PeopleCode to code new or modify existing programs and create new pages, functions and views.
• Lead on analyzing new functionality in PUM images (Application Features) and share results with SE team and business users.
• Develop and configure test automation networks and execute stability and performance tests.
• Develop and execute test automation through PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), Python and related tools; ensure test coverage.
• Record test results and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
• Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build testing frameworks.
• Analyze and verify best automated and manual test approaches and execute various testing phases.
• Analyze performance test requirements and develop test plans and debug objectives.
• Interact with business users to gather details and priorities; be onsite liaison for offshore resources.
• Collaborate with functional and technical staff through each phase, maintain and configure the system.
• Participate in full Life Cycle of the project including gap analysis, configuration, design, development, implementation, upgrade and testing; assist SIT/UAT.
• Roam through retrofitting fields and records in PeopleSoft.
• Research and resolve system issues and propose solutions to meet requirements.
• Design test documents and participate in Tier-n testing; remediate Tier N assets.
• Prepare software defect tracking and report release status to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design and customize the current PeopleSoft System with respect to the requirements using PeopleSoft tools such as People Tools, People Code, SQL, SQR, XML Publisher, Component interface, Unix Scripting, COBOL and STAT.
• Use Application Designer and other PeopleCode to code new or modify existing programs and create new pages, functions and views to suffice the application needs.
• Take the lead on analyzing new functionality in PUM images (Application Features) and share results with SE team and business users.
• Develop and configure test automation networks and execute stability and performance tests.
• Develop and execute test automation through PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), Python and hardware and software test tools. Involved in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements.
• Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
• Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
• Analyze and verify best automated and manual test approaches and execute acceptance, integration, installation and system testing.
• Analyze performance test requirements and develop test plans and debug to understand test objective requirements.
• Interact with various business users to gather details, impacts and criticality to assess the right order/priority.
• Be the onsite liaison for all offshore resources including the ones assigned to specific projects.
• Collaborate with functional and technical staff through each phase, maintain and configure the system.
• Participate in the Full Life Cycle of the project and perform activities of gap analysis, configuration, design, development, implementation, upgrade and testing. Assist in SIT and UAT phases of the project through production roll out.
• Participate in retrofitting the fields, records, record field people code.
• Research and resolve system problems, unexpected results or process flaws, perform scheduled activities, recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
• Design Test documents and involved in Tier-n testing (Other applications). Analyzing and remediating the Tier N assets for the project.
• Prepare software defect tracking and report entire project release status to stakeholders.

Qualification

This job requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Software Professional. We Will also accept Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related and 3 years of experience in the job offered.
