  • 3+ years experience with ServiceNow ITSM/CSM.
  • Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks.
  • Experience using enterprise tools to remotely access desktops.
  • Familiarity with SCCM and enterprise sustainment systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and reporting tools.
  • Must hold certifications such as CompTIA Network+/A+/Security+, CISSP, or CASP.

Job description

G2IT is seeking an experienced Computer Support Specialist (Level 3) to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for enterprise IT environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Windows, Linux, and UNIX-based infrastructure, ServiceNow ITSM, and enterprise desktop support tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows, Linux, and UNIX-based environments.
  • Maintain and support Windows Server, Exchange, and Solaris infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and end-user technical issues.
  • Utilize ServiceNow ITSM & CSM to manage incidents, service requests, and technical support activities.
  • Remotely access user desktops using approved enterprise tools to diagnose issues, verify symptoms, isolate faults, and resolve commonly reported problems.
  • Utilize SCCM and other enterprise tools to support systems and end users.
  • Support the ONI Enterprise Sustainment Readiness Management System (SRMS).
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and support records.
  • Produce reports, charts, spreadsheets, database information, and dashboard data on scheduled and ad hoc bases.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while communicating technical information clearly to users and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Must hold an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI access.
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing Windows, Linux, and UNIX-based IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Exchange, and Solaris.
  • 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow or an equivalent IT service management/request system.
  • Strong IT troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues.
  • Experience using enterprise tools to remotely access and troubleshoot end-user desktops.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM & CSM and enterprise sustainment/support systems.
  • Familiarity with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to produce reports, charts, spreadsheets, database information, and dashboard data.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must hold at least one of the following certifications:
    • CompTIA Network+
    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Security+
    • BICSI ITS Installer 2 (Fiber Optic), obtained within 6 months
    • CISSP
    • CASP or equivalent
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree (2+ years) from an accredited college or university is preferred.
