Job summary

Tribalco in Austin, TX seeks a Computer Support Specialist III to configure end-user devices and network hardware, perform installations and software updates, and handle security patches as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred.
• 3+ years experience as a computer technician providing desktop support.
• IT I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and IAT II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002.
• Security+ or higher.

Computer Support Specialist III

Location: Transformation and Training Command (T2COM), Austin, Texas

Status: Full-Time / Temporary

FLSA Category: Exempt

Key Responsibilities

• Configure authorized end user and network devices, including computers, printers, laptops, scanners, and other hardware.
• Configure bulk authorized end user and network devices, including computers, printers, laptops, scanners, and other hardware.
• Provide local touch labor services, including installation, troubleshooting, and software updates; security updates; vendor patches (service packs, service releases), etc., when electronic application means do not exist.
• Provide local touch labor services, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Other duties as assigned.
