Job summary

Hebrew Academy-New City in New City, NY is seeking a Computer Teacher to manage the Computer Lab/STEM program for K-8 students for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is part-time, with hours 1:00–4:30 pm, one day a week (preferably Mondays) and starts as soon as April 25, 2026.

The school also runs a summer camp and aims to offer campers computer or robotics activities on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Teach the Computer Lab/STEM program for students in grades K-8.
• Lead weekly computer or robotics activities for campers in the summer.
• Coordinate schedule and manage after-school hours from 1:00–4:30 pm, one day per week (preferably Mondays).

Job description

The Hebrew Academy is a small private school located in New City, NY. We are looking for a Computer Teacher for immediate hire and/or for the school year of 2026-2027 for our Computer Lab/STEM for students K-8th. Hours would be 1:00-4:30pm one day a week, preferably on Mondays, though the day of the week can be changed if necessary. Position is open for immediate fulfillment beginning April 25, 2026.

We also have a summer camp and are looking to provide our campers with computer or robotics once a week.
