The Hebrew Academy in New City, NY is seeking a Computer Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to lead our Computer Lab/STEM program for students from K through 8.

This part-time position runs 1:00-4:30pm on one day per week (preferably Mondays). Immediate start from April 25, 2026, with additional summer camp robotics/computer activities once a week.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching computer or STEM to elementary students.
• Availability for afternoons and one day per week.
• Ability to support K–8 computer lab activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and activities.

Job description

The Hebrew Academy is a small private school located in New City, NY. We are looking for a Computer Teacher for immediate hire and/or for the school year of 2026-2027 for our Computer Lab/STEM for students K-8th. Hours would be 1:00-4:30pm one day a week, preferably on Mondays, though the day of the week can be changed if necessary. Position is open for immediate fulfillment beginning April 25, 2026.

We also have a summer camp and are looking to provide our campers with computer or robotics once a week.
