Job summary

Unisys seeks a Field Engineer to provide full range field engineering support for a base of large/complex clients. You will own onsite service activity and perform advanced maintenance on products, including installations.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle, with 2–4 years of related experience. Unisys offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provides full range of Field Engineering support for assigned base of large/complex clients.
• Takes complete ownership of onsite service activity.
• Performs advanced-level maintenance on all products, including low-complexity installation activities.
• Provides technical feedback on equipment, systems and processes to improve service delivery.
• Uses advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve client problems and conduct scheduled installs.
• Identifies and resolves systemic issues within the team.
• Proactively supports the needs of other team members, providing technical assistance and expertise.
• Contributes to improved client services metrics reporting and documentation.
• Monitors technical and process issues, informing the manager and team on improvement recommendations.

• Uses advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve client problems and conduct scheduled installs.

• Proactively supports the needs of other team members, providing technical assistance and expertise.
• Contributes to improved client services metrics reporting and documentation.
• Monitors technical and process issues, proactively informing the manager and/or team on offering improvement recommendations.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• High School Diploma or GED required May require technical certification or Associate Degree
• Generally, 2-4 years’ experience in area of responsibility
• MUST HAVE: A valid drivers license and criminal background verification will be required Must have access to a reliable vehicle
