Job summary

JLGOV LLC is seeking experienced Mainframe Computer Operators to support production operations in a federal mainframe data center. The role is 100% onsite with required background checks and shift endurance.

You will operate printers and bursters, manage JCL submissions, monitor queues, and perform routine maintenance while aligning with SOPs and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Mainframe or enterprise data-center operations experience.
• Hands-on with high-speed laser printers, impact printers, burster equipment; routine maintenance.
• Knowledge of JCL and TSO/ISPF.
• Experience submitting, monitoring, tracking, and troubleshooting production jobs.
• Production Control or batch-processing experience.
• Ability to follow SOPs, production schedules, and shift procedures.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned onsite shift.

Responsibilities

• Load paper, forms, toner, developer, and supplies.

Job description

• Shifts: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Citizenship: No Visa or U.S. Citizenship sponsorship; must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work.
• Clearance: Required
• Anticipated Start: December 2026
• Compensation: Competitive hourly pay plus applicable employer-provided benefits, based on qualifications, experience, shift assignment, and federal contract experience and requirements.
• Background Investigation: Must pass a background check, drug testing, and a credit check without delay.

Before Applying
