Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Computer Operator I to join our Romeoville, IL team. The role supports distribution services and operates Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, at 1001 W. Taylor Rd. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and up to two years of IT operations experience.

The ideal candidate will perform routine system administration, monitor availability, maintain logs, and assist with incident intake and tickets. Certification in ITIL, A+, or Network+ is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Less than 2 years in IT operations, technical support, or related field.
• ITIL Foundation or CompTIA A+/Network+ or cloud fundamentals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine system administration tasks including user account maintenance and access provisioning.
• Monitor system availability and basic performance indicators and escalate issues.
