Job summary

Brightstar Lottery in Charleston, WV is seeking a Computer Operator to keep our systems running around the clock. You will monitor enterprise systems, support development and lottery operations, and execute daily checklists to ensure accuracy.

The role requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional with 2+ years in a related technical role and the ability to work in a fast-paced shift-based environment. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• OR equivalent experience with at least 2 years in a related technical role.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Brightstar’s enterprise systems in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Support product development, systems integration, and lottery operations teams.
• Execute daily operational checklists and ensure tasks are completed accurately.
• Generate and review reports to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution.
• Identify and elevate system issues quickly and effectively.
• Assist in system recovery efforts to restore normal operations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities

As a Computer Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly around the clock. You’ll collaborate with technical teams and support critical operations that ensure reliability and performance.

In this role, you will:

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $29,120 - $52,458. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
