Job summary

Tech Mahindra in San Diego, CA is seeking an NC/CNC Programmer to create, test, and optimize NC programs for machining operations while interpreting engineering drawings and process plans. The candidate will perform first-time prove-out on CNC machines, troubleshoot machining issues, and coordinate with manufacturing engineers, machinists, and quality teams.

A Diploma/Engineering in mechanical or manufacturing with 4–6 years of NC programming experience is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or engineering degree in mechanical or related field with NC programming experience.
• Experience with Siemens NX CAM programming and DMU/Siemens controls environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and support production execution.
• Knowledge of NX or related CAM environments and tooling considerations.

Job Title: NC/CNC Programmer

The pay range for this role is $110k- $115k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.

The exact offer terms will depend on the skill level, educational qualifications, experience, and location of the candidate.

• This role is also open for contract: $45/hr - $65/hr

Special Skills:

• Candidate should possess strong experience in Siemens NX CAM programming and shop-floor machine prove-out activities. Must be capable of generating and validating CNC programs, conducting simulation and collision checks, performing first-time prove-out on CNC machines, troubleshooting machining issues, and optimizing programs for aerospace manufacturing applications.

• Knowledge of tooling/fixture considerations, and familiarity with NX or related CAM environments.
