Cqmedical is seeking a skilled CNC Programming Engineer in Pennsylvania to develop and maintain CNC programs for 2‑ to 5‑axis machining centers and turret punches within a regulated medical device environment.
You will also support manufacturing engineering activities, fixture design, process improvements, and documentation, collaborating with operators to ensure quality and efficiency with lean practices.
The CNC Programming Engineer develops and maintains CNC programs for 2, 2.5, 3, and 5-axis machining centers, turret punch presses, and automated cutting systems—approximately 75–80% of the role. The remaining effort supports manufacturing engineering activities including fixture design, process improvement, and sustaining documentation in a regulated medical device environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related field; or 5+ years of hands‑on CNC programming experience with demonstrated multi‑axis capability is required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, aerospace, or similar) is preferred.
