Job summary

BRYANT is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to monitor and control Haas machines, read blueprints, and edit G-code to produce high-quality parts. You will train new hires, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and accuracy in both job shop and production settings.

The role emphasizes proficiency in G-code, CAD/CAM tools, and a solid understanding of machining processes, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement within our manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Three years machining experience or equivalent.
• Functional experience in CNC machining/steel fabrication.
• Thorough understanding of program format.
• Ability to read and edit programs in G-code.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CNC machines and programming languages.
• Strong computer skills; Mastercam CAD/CAM software a plus.
• Programming experience in CNC environments.
• Experience in both job shop and production models.
• Lean training preferred.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

• Monitor, maintain and control the movements of CNC Machines
• Strong knowledge of Haas Machines
• Recommend and assist in developing tooling and process documentation
• Train new hires/Crosstrain existing employees
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Read, interpret and convert blueprints into end products using CNC
• programming codes
• Proper handling of measurement tools
• Maintain all equipment in good operating condition
• Safely perform all responsibilities with adherence to company policy
• Read detailed engineering documents such as prints, routing and process
• instructions
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three years machining experience or equivalent
• Functional experience in a department (CNC machining/Steel fabrication)
• Thorough understanding of program format
• Ability to read and edit programs in G-code
• Comprehensive knowledge of CNC machines and the programming languages used to access and control them
• Strong computer skills preferred - Mastercam CAD/CAM software or Conversation software
• Programming experience
• Experience in both Job shop (low volume/ high mix) and Production (high volume / low mix) business models
• Lean training preferred
