Job summary

BRYANT is seeking experienced individuals to join our team as CNC operators/setup personnel. You will safely operate CNC lathes and mills, read engineering drawings, and program setups to manufacture precision components.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with measuring tools, performing deburring and side operations, and keeping equipment in good condition. A focus on attendance and quality is required.

Qualifications

• Understanding Mazatrol programming and how to apply it to CNC operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, routing, and process instructions.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools with accuracy and consistency.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with standards.
• Good communication to convey information effectively.
• Basic computer knowledge for program entry and data review.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for shift.

JOB DUTIES:

• Safely perform all responsibilities with adherence to company policy
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Read engineering documents such as prints, routing, and process instructions
• Demonstrate ability to operate CNC lathes, mills, set-up and program
• Proper handling of measurement tools
• Perform side operations as required while CNC is running (e.g. deburring)
• Maintain all equipment in good operating condition
• Report discrepancies in job route times as soon as they are identified
• Fill out scrap report
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Must have good attendance
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understanding of Mazatrol programming
• Ability to read drawings and effectively communicate
• Ability to accurately use measuring devices, operate equipment and make adjustments as needed
• Attention to detail with a capacity to evaluate information to determine compliance with standards
• Computer knowledge
• Walk and stand for entire shift
• Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted
