EIS in Canton, GA is seeking a Programmer to develop CNC programs using Mastercam for parts and fixtures, troubleshoot in production, and collaborate with engineering to optimize manufacturability.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent CNC experience, strong English communication, and the ability to document processes, run simulations, and train production staff.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

As a Programmer, you will provide guidance to production personnel on CNC programs and fixtures, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. You will assist in troubleshooting common issues but will refer disciplinary matters to Production Management.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must ensure the accuracy of information and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience in a CNC machining environment is acceptable. Proficiency in Mastercam or similar software is essential.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to convey job instructions and technical information clearly.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations; ability to convert metric units correctly and apply the conversions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
