About the Role

This role involves supporting efficient production by setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing CNC and dedicated equipment.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and tear down CNC and dedicated equipment using approved processes
Troubleshoot equipment, programs, and tooling issues to minimize downtime
Edit and adjust CNC programs, offsets, and tool changes in collaboration with Engineering
Read and interpret prints, SPC data, CMM results, and GD&T specifications
Support process improvements, DOEs, and new project development
Perform daily production work to ensure parts meet quality and accuracy standards
Provide leadership and direction when the supervisor is unavailable

Qualifications

3–5 years of CNC machining experience in a machine shop or similar environment
Strong skills in CNC setup, troubleshooting, and program editing
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T_META
Experience analyzing inspection data (CMM, SPC, process studies)
Vocational or technical training in precision machining preferred
Ability to work independently and support team goals
Reliable transportation to the Minneapolis facility
Ability to follow all safety, environmental, and quality requirements #metrocareers
